Street Side Wall

While I was looking through the blog last week, I realized that we do not have any pictures of the street side wall from the outside after removing all the windows.  It looks funny for right now, but we hope to have the new windows in this summer some time.  We still have the plumbing inspection, insulation, drywall, floors, trim, windows, sheathing and siding to do.

Lake Side Wall

We had a gorgeous weekend, so I went up to the cabin to get the final push on the framing done.  When the lake side wall was replaced, there was a gap between the top of the header and the cap on the top of the wall.  So the trusses  come down on the cap which does not carry that load all the way to the ground.  So today I put these blocks in under each truss to fix that problem.
